“In orthodoxy, we were taught that trouble or inharmony of any kind was sent as a punishment for wrong doing. In metaphysics, we were told that these evil appearances were due to wrong thinking. Actually, neither of these conclusions can be true.”
The author acknowledges that inharmony may arise in our experience, even though we have long been on the spiritual path and have experienced many proofs of this Truth. We may ask, “Why is this happening? What is the cause of this trouble?”
She reassures us that any discord we seem to experience is not what it appears to be. It is “the illusion’s illusion.” Rightly perceived, it is but a signal drawing our attention to God, “the Entirety of our Being and Body.”
Through revelation of the deeper meanings of Jesus’ parables and other scriptural verses, we are shown the futility of looking for a cause for problems. This only serves to keep our attention focused on illusion rather than reality. Instead, we are to concern ourselves only with “the genuine and only substance and activity which does exist.”
As we become aware of our God-Identity, we experience a peace beyond human understanding, an active awareness unshaken by the seeming storms of the world.
Also included here are Poems of The Ultimate, joyously offered as inspired revelations of the Absolute Ultimate Truth, God’s purpose “fulfilled as the experience of you, the reader.”
