In his writings, Walter Lanyon speaks often of the New Day, wherein we awaken to the conscious awareness that we are made in the image and likeness of God and are ready to claim this divine inheritance. In this New Day of recognition, we stand on the mountaintop of revelation, and the “smell of fire” of past trials is “absorbed in the glorious light of Spirit.” This new consciousness spreads its wings, and we consciously enter the path of peace and harmony.

This book was brought forth through the author’s conviction that the time has come to transcend that state of expression where there are problems to overcome. We are in the New Day, where these former things have passed away and no longer come to mind—not even the smell of fire remains.

“My way is easy, and my burden is light.” In reminding us of these words of Jesus, the author says, “The only burden you have is Light, in both nature and substance, and so you begin to understand something of the New Day, which is even at this moment dawning before you.”

“Arise, then, and put on the vestments of your office, forgetting those things which are behind and pressing on into a fuller and more glorious expression of your cosmic Being. Your name is Wonderful now because you have discovered your real Self.”
